Although Dwayne Johnson is the largest movie star in the world, there have been rumours in recent years that The Rock may be considering running for president of the United States. The Rock has in the past at least hinted that he might seriously consider running, but he has since declared that his candidacy is “off the table,” at least for the time being, because his role as a father is more crucial.
The Rock wants to be a rock for his children
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is a beloved actor and successful businessman, but instead of being a rock for America, he wants to be a rock for his children.
The former WWE star declared in the interview, “I love our nation and everyone in it. I also enjoy being a father. And becoming a father is what matters the most to me. First and foremost, especially at this crucial juncture in my daughters’ lives.

My View –
We can all agree that Dwayne Johnson has his priorities in order in this situation, I believe. Having said that, he is currently only 50 years old, making him younger than the majority of presidential hopefuls. Johnson would still be young enough to run for office when his kids are about ten years old, so while being president may not be an option right now, that could change in the future.
