Zerodha tech glitch hits users login on Kite Web company says issues resolved

Discount broker Zerodha encountered technical glitches on Monday and some users on the platform reported login issues with the Kite web platform.

Zerodha had initially issued a statement acknowledging the issue and asked users to log into the Kite Mobile app. The company has shared another update saying that the issue has been resolved.

“Some of our users were facing issues with logging into Kite and adding instruments to the marketwatch. These issues are resolved. We regret the inconvenience caused,” Zerodha said on social media platform X.

The technical glitch occurred on a day when the domestic stock markets witnessed record gains following the success of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), leading to frustration amongst some users.

Users expressed their frustration with the technical glitch as it happened on such an important day. One user commented, “Down again on an important day.” Several others took to Twitter to voice their discontent.

This incident follows technical challenges Zerodha faced in November when some users were unable to view executed orders in the order book.

The problem was successfully resolved on the same day. A similar glitch occurred in October on the Kite platform, and it was promptly addressed and resolved by the brokerage firm.
