India emerging as the most important eco-system partner in semiconductors: Ashwini Vaishnaw

In an exclusive interview with India Today, Union Minister for IT and Telecom Ashwini Vaishnaw said India is emerging as the most important eco-system partner in semiconductors. 

Sharing his views on computer storage chip maker Micron announcing that it will be investing $850 million in India, Ashwini Vaishnaw said, “The world today sees India as the natural big semi-conductor manufacturer in the coming years. So whatever we are seeing today are the first steps and the major steps, which are building the foundation and creating the eco-system.”
